Disney has a very large impact on how women are precieved to young children. In Cinderella, the young lady is a slave to the other women in her family and is given very little respect. In most situations people see men treating a woman as the caretaker of the home. In Beauty and the Beast Gaston plays a very strong leader role and tries to be very forceful to get what he wants. Belle is seen as a prize to Gaston because she is the most beautiful girl in town.
